Waterkeeper Alliance - The Waterkeeper Alliance of which Waterkeepers Iraq/Nature Iraq is a member, is an international advocacy organization made up of over 200 advocates across the globe dedicated to protecting and giving a voice to our rivers and waterways.
Hasenkeyf Matters - Hasenkeyf is a small hamlet in southeastern Turkey, but for centuries it was a regional hub, home to Romans, Byzantines, the Artukids, Ayyubids, and Akkoyunlu, before its absorption into the Ottoman Empire in the earty 16th Century. Within a few years, the area is scheduled to be inundated by the Ilisu Hydroelectric Dam Project. Masenkeyf Matters is a organization dedicated to raising the profile of Hasankeyf both nationally and internationally, through a broad exploration of the city’s unique archeological, cultural and natural resources, and to generate fresh and viable strategies balancing conservation and growth.
International Rivers - Since 1985, International Rivers has been at the heart of the global struggle to protect rivers and the rights of communities that depend on them. They work with an international network of dam-affected people, grassroots organizations, environmentalists, human rights advocates and others who are committed to stopping destructive river projects and promoting better options.
