With the participation of more than 200 people and about 30 volunteers, Waterkeepers Iraq-Kurdistan Organization, in coordination with the Dukan District Governor's Office, Dukan, Bangird, and Sulaimani Forest Police, Experience Wilderness Club presented an energetic and enjoyable festival in Dukan Lake
The festival featured music, artistic and environmental performances, swimming, and paddleboarding.
This festival aimed to raise public awareness and knowledge about the environment and our water resources, as well as the dangers they face. On the other hand, it featured several artistic performances that conveyed a message of environmental protection and showcased aspects of art, music, and coexistence.
Sida funds this training, in partnership with NPA Iraq (Norwegian People's Aid) and Waterkeepers Iraq (WIO), through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
